Matthew (Matt) Smith – B2B Instructor / Counselor, has over 15 years experience in business and the government contracting industry. He is currently the managing partner of a childcare center with a team of 17 employees and is the co-owner of two other businesses, bringing real world entrepreneurship experience to the B2B RR team. Prior to being a business owner, Mr. Smith developed business for a government contracting firm, driving its growth through directing, managing, and supporting more than 290 proposal responses, adding more than 84 new positions through managed proposal wins, maintaining more than 93 FTEs through re-competed contracts, and contributing to proposals that added more than 72 additional FTEs. He is experienced directing teams of both dedicated and temporary personnel and managing numerous projects concurrently, including proposal efforts ranging from large-scale IDIQ and proposal responses greater than 300 pages, to task orders requiring a response within 1-5 business days. He is married to his college sweetheart and they have 2 beautiful children whom he helps to homeschool.
